What most folks don’t know is that timing is crucial to keeping your loss to a minimum. A clean-water loss can turn to a gray-water loss in as little as three days. A gray water loss can turn to a black-water loss in two to three more days. For every day that passes, your loss becomes more expensive to mitigate.
When we arrive at your residence or business, we will first ensure that the problem has been discovered, fixed or isolated for the time being and proceed to start the process of water removal and drying.
Water damage repair can be somewhat misleading. With some water losses, the only repair that needs to be done is water extraction and dry-out. We use technology that is far more advanced than what the average ‘restoration contractor’ uses. Most people believe that everything that is wet has to be replaced.
We Know Differently!
We know that we can save you Time, Money, and Inconvenience.
There are certain principles that exist in nature. Consider gravity — if you drop something it will continue to fall until it is stopped by either a solid object or the ground. This is a natural force. There is another natural force that most people don’t consider. That is the natural force of moisture seeking dry if it can.
Think of it this way — you take a dry cotton wick, put it in a new oil lamp, fill the reservoir with oil and put the wick in the oil and twist on the lid. Tomorrow you will find that the oil went uphill against the force of gravity all the way to the top of the wick. This is possible because in nature moisture seeks dry. This is how we can dry the inside of your walls without ripping off your sheet rock and other walls, floor or ceiling coverings.
We create such a dry environment in the building. With the knowledge of just the right heat and strategic air movement positioning, we can literally FORCE the moisture out of the walls and remove it with a commercial sized, low grain refrigerant dehumidifier.
Once the source of the loss is fixed and the facility is dried out, we will make recommendations to you on how to avoid a recurring situation, whether it means keeping more heat in an area during extremely cold temperatures, installing sump pumps and or a humidistat and fan/venting system, or re-directing ground water away from your foundation with rain-gutters etc.
